It took BOYNEXTDOOR just one day to smash their personal first-week sales record with their new album!
On September 9 at 6 p.m. KST, the rookie boy group made their highly-anticipated comeback with their their latest mini album “19.99” and its catchy title track “Nice Guy.”
According to Hanteo Chart, “19.99” sold an impressive total of 609,666 copies on its first day of sales alone—managing to break BOYNEXTDOOR’s previous first-week sales record of 531,911 (set by their last mini album “HOW?”) within just one day.
With the rest of the week still left to go, it remains to be seen just how much higher BOYNEXTDOOR’s personal sales record will climb by the end of September 15.
Additionally, all of the songs from “19.99” entered Melon’s Top 100 shortly after the mini album’s release (with the exception of the English version of “Nice Guy”).
“Nice Guy” debuted at No. 52 and rose to a peak of No. 26 by midnight KST on September 10, marking BOYNEXTDOOR’s highest ranking yet on the chart. The group’s pre-release track “Dangerous” followed at No. 41, with “20” at No. 53, “Gonna Be a Rock” at No. 55, “Call Me” at No. 61, and “SKIT” at No. 76, while their previous title track “Earth, Wind & Fire” re-entered the chart at No. 93 five months after its release.
As of midnight KST on September 10, “Nice Guy” had also reached No. 13 on Bugs and No. 34 on Genie.
BOYNEXTDOOR will begin promoting their new title track on music shows starting with Mnet’s “M Countdown” on September 12 at 6 p.m. KST.
Congratulations to BOYNEXTDOOR on their successful comeback!
