BLACKPINK’s Rosé has set a new K-pop record in the United Kingdom with her smash hit “APT.”!
On November 1 local time, the Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that Rosé and Bruno Mar’s collab single “APT.” had risen to No. 2 in its second week on the Official Singles Chart. The song was bested only by Gigi Perez’s “Sailor Song,” which shot to No. 1 this week.
Rosé has now broken her own record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a female K-pop artist (even including groups) on the Official Singles chart: she first claimed the title last week, when “APT.” debuted at No. 4.
“APT.” also held onto its spot at No. 3 in its second week on the Official Singles Sales Chart, in addition to staying strong at No. 5 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and No. 6 on the Official Streaming Chart.
Congratulations to Rosé!
