BLACKPINK’s Rosé has made K-pop history in the United Kingdom!
On October 25 local time, the Official Charts (widely regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that “APT.”, Rosé’s new collab single with Bruno Mars, had debuted at No. 4 on its Official Singles Chart.
With this entry, Rosé has set a new record for the highest ranking ever achieved by a female K-pop artist on the Official Singles Chart—even including groups.
“APT.” also debuted at No. 1 on the Official Singles Downloads Chart this week, in addition to entering the Official Singles Sales chart at No. 3.
Rosé previously made history on the Official Singles Chart three years ago, when her solo debut track “On The Ground” entered the chart at No. 43 and made her the first female K-pop soloist ever to land on the chart.
Congratulations to Rosé on her impressive new record!
