BLACKPINK’s Jennie is set to take on a new role as a guesthouse owner in Italy in the upcoming episodes of “My Name is Gabriel”!

Produced by PD Kim Tae Ho known for the hit MBC program “Infinite Challenge,” “My Name is Gabriel” is a variety show that follows cast members as they experience the lives of others abroad for 72 hours.

In the upcoming episode of the show, Jennie transforms into Maria, the real-life owner of a farmhouse bed and breakfast in a village near Rome, Italy. Reflecting on her decision to join the show, Jennie shared, “I thought it would be a special experience.”

Throughout her 72-hour journey as Maria, Jennie takes on various tasks, from picking up guests and preparing meals to hosting banquets and even conducting cooking classes. According to the production team, Jennie makes an eye-catching entrance with a dramatic opening, sparking curiosity by saying, “Has anyone ever been kidnapped while working?” She is then led to a horse ranch, where she begins her journey at a guesthouse situated on a vast estate with a 15,000-square-meter vineyard and 500 olive trees.

As an avid nature and animal lover, Jennie connects with Maria, who shares a deep bond with horses. Jennie reminisces about her time studying in New Zealand, revealing, “I once gave up my vacation just to stay near horses.”

The episode will also highlight Maria/Jennie’s special relationship with her mother, showcasing their heartwarming chemistry as they work together at the guesthouse. In a touching moment, she reflects, “I learned all of life’s lessons here.”

Fans can also look forward to seeing Maria/Jennie’s cooking skills on full display as she harvests ingredients from the farm and prepares homemade meals for her guests alongside her mother.

Jennie’s episodes of “My Name is Gabriel” will air on September 27 and October 4 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
