BIGBANG’s Taeyang is set to host a solo concert!
On July 15, THEBLACKLABEL unveiled the poster for the TAEYANG 2024 TOUR “THE LIGHT YEAR” in Seoul on its official social media channels, announcing Taeyang’s upcoming solo concert.
The poster features Taeyang gazing intensely ahead, sparking anticipation for the return of the artist known for his unique presence.
This marks Taeyang’s first solo concert in seven years since 2017, and fans are eagerly awaiting the stages he will present given his track record of hit songs and captivating performances. Plans for an Asia tour, starting with the Seoul performance, are also underway, heightening excitement among international fans.
Earlier in 2023, Taeyang released his second EP “Down to Earth” featuring tracks such as “VIBE,” “Shoong!” and “Seed.” Additionally, he appeared on Mnet’s “I-LAND 2,” which concluded on July 4, serving as the main producer for the division tasked with selecting the debut group from 24 applicants. His role garnered attention for providing both warm and incisive feedback.
Taeyang’s solo concert “THE LIGHT YEAR” will take place twice at the Olympic Hall in Seoul on August 31 at 6 p.m. KST and September 1 at 5 p.m. KST. The event introduces a new FAN and SOUND CHECK EXPERIENCE package, offering fans the chance to attend the artist’s sound check, photo benefit, Q&A session, and more. Ticket reservations will open on Interpark at 12 p.m. KST on July 17.
