Upcoming drama “Check in Hanyang” has released new posters featuring Bae In Hyuk and Kim Ji Eun!
Set in the Joseon Dynasty, “Check in Hanyang” is a historical romance drama that depicts the growth and love stories of youths who join as “interns” at Yongcheonlu, the largest inn in Joseon.
Bae In Hyuk stars as Prince Lee Eun, the king’s son with great power. However, he hides his identity and joins Yongcheonlu under the name Lee Eun Ho.
Kim Ji Eun takes on the role of Hong Deok Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man for undisclosed reasons. She struggles fiercely to survive while keeping her true identity a secret at Yongcheonlu.
The newly released posters feature Lee Eun Ho and Hong Deok Soo. In the first poster, they are shown as trainees at Yongcheonlu. The caption that reads, “Hong Deok Soo, don’t act recklessly,” hints at Lee Eun Ho’s perspective on his fellow trainee Hong Deok Soo. Both started working at Yongcheonlu on the same day, share the same room, and grow closer as they face ups and downs together. The poster raises questions about what caused Lee Eun Ho to view Hong Deok Soo’s actions as reckless and how their relationship will develop.
The second poster reveals the characters’ hidden identities. Lee Eun Ho is depicted as the king’s son Prince Lee Eun, while Hong Deok Soo is captured dressed as a woman. The caption that reads, “Hong Jae On, what is your true identity?” suggests that Hong Deok Soo’s real name is Hong Jae On. However, the veil covering her face suggests that her character remains shrouded in mystery. Curiosity is high about the secrets Hong Jae On is hiding and why Lee Eun Ho is so interested in her identity.
“Check in Hanyang” will premiere on December 21 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
