The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from March 7 to April 7.
“Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 4,779,339. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Kian 84,” “Jun Hyun Moo,” and “Park Na Rae,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “release,” “appear,” and “confident.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.20 percent positive reactions.
“Running Man” rose to second place with a brand reputation index of 4,145,571, marking a 6.50 percent increase in its score since March.
Meanwhile, “My Little Old Boy” took third place for the month with a brand reputation index of 3,170,630.
“National Singing Contest” jumped to fourth place after seeing a 41.93 percent rise in its brand reputation index since last month, bringing its total score for April to 2,969,815.
Finally, “Radio Star” rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,640,623, marking a 4.01 percent increase in its score since March.
