Ahn Se Ha, who is facing allegations of school bullying, has halted his public activities.

On September 12, SHOWNOTE, the production company for the musical “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder,” stated, “In light of the recent issues surrounding Ahn Se Ha, who is currently playing the role of D’Ysquith, we have mutually agreed with his agency that it would be inappropriate for him to continue performing until the matter is resolved, regardless of the allegations’ validity. As such, we have revised Ahn Se Ha’s remaining performance schedule.”

As a result, actors Jung Moon Sung and Jung Sang Hoon will replace Ahn Se Ha on select dates. However, he is still scheduled to perform on September 13. With the musical running until October 20, his participation in the October shows remains uncertain.

Additionally, NC Dinos canceled Ahn Se Ha’s scheduled ceremonial first pitch on September 15 at Changwon NC Park. In a statement released on September 11, they said, “Both the team and the agency agreed that proceeding with the event before the issue is resolved, regardless of its validity, would be inappropriate.”

Previously, after it was announced that Ahn Se Ha would sing the national anthem and throw the first pitch at the game given his ties to Changwon, allegations of school bullying from his middle school years emerged.

Netizen A, who claims to have attended middle school with Ahn Se Ha in Changwon, stated, “As someone who loves baseball, I couldn’t stay silent knowing a school bully would be throwing the first pitch.”

A further claimed, “Ahn Se Ha was notorious as the leader of the school bullies,” recounting incidents where he poked their stomach and threatened them with broken glass, forced unwanted fights, and verbally abused other students.

In response, Ahn Se Ha’s agency Hunus Entertainment issued four statements over two days on September 10 and 11, strongly denying the accusations. They further stated that they had filed a formal complaint with the police and enlisted a lawyer to pursue civil and criminal lawsuits for defamation against the “individual spreading the false claims.”

Despite the denials, the controversy continued to escalate as more individuals who claimed to have attended school with Ahn Se Ha came forward, stating that he was “widely known as a school bully throughout the whole school.”
