Ahn Bo Hyun recently showcased his captivating visuals in a new pictorial with Tasaki for Singles magazine, released on June 18th.

In the accompanying interview, Ahn Bo Hyun expressed his desire to showcase a variety of characters rather than just himself. “As an actor, I have a strong desire to show different sides through my characters rather than just revealing myself. After ‘Itaewon Class,’ I received many offers to play villains, but I chose ‘Yumi’s Cells’ to showcase a completely different side. I consider such factors when selecting roles,” he explained. He added, “I have a keen interest in genres like superhero films or series like ‘Moving,’ and I want to experience new types of projects.”

Known for his love of old cars, Ahn Bo Hyun reminisced, “It’s gratifying to replace a part in my car and see immediate improvements. I remember trembling with excitement when I replaced a 110,000 KRW ($85) part back when I didn’t have much income. Memories like those deepen my affection for old cars.”

Discussing his love for road trips with vintage bikes and cars, Ahn Bo Hyun said, “There’s a sense of freedom and liberation in it. Going outside can be tough, but it’s also rewarding. Even cooking and eating ramen outdoors after a hard day feels more delicious and fun.”

Although he doesn’t drink often, Ahn Bo Hyun shared his favorite food pairings, “It changes constantly, but lately, my classic go-to is pork belly with soju. However, the best pairing is always the people you share it with. Who you enjoy good food and drinks with is the most important.”

To achieve the perfect condition for the photoshoot, Ahn Bo Hyun fasted for some time. When asked if he had any rewards planned for himself, he smiled and said, “I have a dinner planned with tuna, soju, and 14-year-old friendships.”
