ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin is once again drawing attention for her fashion choices as she appears at the police station on charges of breach of trust.
Min was indicted by her parent company, HYBE, on charges of breach of trust. She appeared at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul on June 9th for questioning as a defendant.
Min arrived at the Yongsan Police Station around 1:38 PM, catching the attention of onlookers once again with her attire: a black Nike cap, an oversized white short-sleeved T-shirt and sweatpants. She exited the car holding only her smartphone and greeted reporters with a smile. Before the investigation, she confidently stated, “I just need to tell the truth. Breach of trust just doesn’t make any sense.”
After the investigation, Min spoke to the press, saying, “I told the truth. Today wasn’t my originally scheduled date, but I requested to come in for questioning earlier,” and added with a bright smile, “I feel very relieved after speaking the truth.”
Regarding the lengthy investigation, she explained, “It took a long time because I had a lot to say. Since it was HYBE that filed the complaint, it took some time.”
She continued to strongly deny the charges of breach of trust, stating, “It can’t be a breach of trust. To me, it feels like a comedy, so I explained everything truthfully.” However, when asked whether HYBE had filed a defamation complaint, she responded, “I don’t think it’s something I should discuss.”
Meanwhile, the white T-shirt worn by Min has become a hot topic online. The shirt is a collaboration between New Jeans and Japanese street fashion icon Hiroshi Fujiwara, released in May. Its regular price is 55,000 won, but it is currently being traded for 90,000 to 110,000 won on limited-edition trading platforms.
The black Nike cap she paired with the T-shirt is a vintage product from the 1990s, known to be one of Min’s favorite items.
Netizens expressed their keen interest, commenting, “I see she’s wearing New Jeans merch. She’s really a big fan,” “She’s so cool,” “I want that hat too,” and “Great PR.”
