Stray Kids’ Hyunjin has made a meaningful donation.
In celebration of his birthday on March 20, Hyunjin recently donated 100 million won (approximately $74,300) to the organization The Snail of Love. The Snail of Love is a social welfare organization that supports those with hearing impairments by providing artificial cochlear implant surgeries and hearing aids, aiding in their social integration, as well as enhancing public awareness and educational initiatives.
The donation from Hyunjin will be used for various initiatives, including the replacement of external devices for artificial cochlear implants and language rehabilitation therapy for individuals with hearing disabilities.
With this donation, Hyunjin has become a member of The Snail of Love Soul Leader, a high-value donor club of those who have contributed more than 99 million won (approximately $73,600).
Through JYP Entertainment, Hyunjin conveyed his message, “As an artist who shares joy through music, I wanted to contribute even in some small way to helping people hear sound. It’s a small gesture, but I hope to share the precious love I’ve received from fans and wish everyone could enjoy the pleasure of [experiencing] music together.”
