BTOB’s Changsub will be temporarily halting most of his activities due to health concerns.
On March 21, Fantagio announced that because his throat was in poor condition, Changsub had visited the hospital and been advised by a doctor “to refrain from singing that could strain his throat.”
As a result, Changsub will be canceling and postponing most of his upcoming activities—with the exception of BTOB’s fan concerts scheduled for this week.
Fantagio’s full statement is as follows:
Hello, this is Fantagio.
We are making an announcement regarding the current health and future activities of our artist Lee Changsub.
Lee Changsub recently went to the hospital for a consultation and checkup because his throat was in poor condition, and he was advised by a doctor that he needs to refrain from singing that could strain his throat.
In accordance with the doctor’s recommendation, we are adjusting Lee Changsub’s future schedule with the exception of BTOB’s scheduled fan concert in order to treat and manage the condition of his throat. We ask for your understanding in advance regarding the fact that he may cancel or postpone [his other scheduled activities].
We made this decision because we considered our artist’s health our top priority, so we ask for fans’ generous understanding.
We apologize to the fans who must have been surprised by this sudden news, and we will do our utmost so that Lee Changsub can focus on his treatment and continue his activities in top condition.
Thank you.
Wishing Changsub a speedy recovery!
