On April 2nd, tvN revealed ongoing discussions about casting Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook in the upcoming series He’s the Black Dragon (literal title). tvN confirmed to OSEN, “Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook are currently in talks for ‘He’s the Black Dragon’, and our network is considering scheduling.”

Based on a popular webtoon, He’s the Black Dragon tells a story set in the early 2000s, where the lead characters fall in love through a video game before meeting in real life, leading to unexpected developments. Studio Dragon is set to produce the series.

Choi Hyun Wook’s agency, Gold Medalist, told OSEN, “Choi Hyun Wook is positively reviewing the offer to appear in ‘He’s the Black Dragon.’”

Moon Ga Young, who made her debut in the 2006 film To Sir, With Love, has since appeared in several dramas such as Tempted, Welcome to Waikiki 2, Find Me in Your Memory, True Beauty, and The Interest of Love. Recently, she ventured into writing with the publication of her first essay collection “Pata,” marking her debut as an author.

Choi Hyun Wook, who entered the scene with the web drama Real:Time:Love in 2019, has showcased his versatility in a range of projects, including Twenty-Five Twenty-One, Weak Hero Class 1, D.P. 2, and Twinkling Watermelon.
