Spoilers
Previously in “Nothing Uncovered,” director Kang In Han (Jung In Ki) instructed the program’s team to prepare a news article that will overturn public opinion within a month. However, Seo Jung Won confronted director Kang In Han head-on, saying that nothing will be more powerful than revealing the culprit behind Cha Eun Sae’s (Han Ji Eun) murder.
The released stills depict the team wavering after Jung Won was questioned as a witness In Cha Eun Sae’s murder.
Seo Jung Won’s determination to put the team back in its place is evident in her firm gaze. As she continues to dig deeper into the murder case despite director Kang In Han’s opposition, attention is on whether she will be able to win back the viewers who have turned their backs on her and also regain the trust of her coworkers who have lost faith in her.
However, except for Jung Won, fatigue is evident on the faces of the team members. Jung Woo’s partner Joo Young Suk (Kim Min Jae) seems surprised to see something on his cell phone, while Yang Ae Na (Kim Ji Sung) and Lee Da Reun (Seo Bum June) are captured staring nervously at someone with frowns on their faces.
On the other hand, No Ji Ho (Park Hyung Soo), who always clashes with Jung Won at every turn, seems more delighted than anyone else at Jung Won’s downfall. He even brings evidence of Seol Woo Hae’s affair with Cha Eun Sae, which is sure to cause problems for the team.
As the once top-performing show faces the risk of getting canceled, viewers are left wondering if Jung Won will be able to escape the waves of misfortune that has befallen her and the identity of the real murderer who shattered Jung Won’s life.
Another set of stills depicts a chance encounter between Jung Won and Tae Heon in front of the memorial park where Tae Heon’s partner Detective Cha (Danny Ahn) is laid to rest.
Tae Heon, who commemorates Detective Cha’s death anniversary every year, is surprised by an unexpected encounter with Jung Won. Tae Heon’s cold demeanor and unyielding attitude leave Jung Won speechless and bitter. Curiosity is raised as to why Jung Won showed up at the memorial park and whether there is a connection between the two and Detective Cha’s death.
In the next set of stills, Tae Heon is seen shedding tears while holding the blood-soaked body of Detective Cha, who has fallen from a building. Tae Heon looks like he is about to collapse from grief when Detective Cha dies after saying his last words.
Jung Won arrives at the crime scene later and is shocked to find Detective Cha dead. Jung Won, who has a bewildered expression on her face as if she is unable to believe that Detective Cha is truly dead, tries to approach Tae Heon, but Tae Heon, distraught over Detective Cha’s death, points a gun at Jung Won.
The production team of “Nothing Uncovered” commented, “Danny Ahn will make a special appearance as Detective Cha, the person who holds the important secret that led to the breakup between Jung Won and Tae Heon,” adding, “Please look forward to his short but impactful presence as well as his acting chemistry with Yeon Woo Jin.”
The next episode of “Nothing Uncovered” will air on April 1 at 10:10 p.m. KST.
