“Check in Hanyang” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
Set in the Joseon era, “Check in Hanyang” is a romance drama about four young people who become “interns” at Yongcheonru, the grandest inn in all of Joseon. Bae In Hyuk stars as Lee Eun Ho, a prince who is secretly hiding his identity, while Kim Ji Eun plays Hong Duk Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man to join Yongcheonru.
Jung Gun Joo plays the role of Cheon Jun Hwa, the heir to Yongcheonru, and DKZ’s Jaechan plays Ko Soo Ra, an upstanding but ambitious young man who wants to restore his family’s lost honor.

The previous episode ended on a gripping note as Hong Duk Soo was arrested under suspicion of murdering Kim Man Dol (Han Sang Jo).
Kim Man Dol, who had previously gambled with Hong Duk Soo using a Hongpae—a permit for the Yongcheonru examination—as a wager, lost it to her in a bet. However, the Hongpae ended up getting torn in half when Lee Eun Ho happened to witness their quarrel. With only half of the Hongpae in her possession, Hong Duk Soo forged it and gained entry to Yongcheonru. What seemed like a resolved conflict took a shocking turn when Kim Man Dol was discovered murdered, clutching the torn Hongpae. To complicate matters further, a blood-stained royal sword was found at the crime scene, deepening the mystery.
The newly released stills offer a glimpse of the tense interrogation led by the Minister of Defense (Yoon Je Moon). In one image, the minister holds the torn Hongpae, emphasizing the gravity of Hong Duk Soo’s predicament. Another still shows Hong Duk Soo with an injured cheek, implying she may have been struck during the ordeal.
The stills also capture Lee Eun Ho and Cheon Jun Hwa observing the interrogation with concerned expressions. Lee Eun Ho, who is drawn to Hong Duk Soo and her connection to the remaining half of the Hongpae, and Cheon Jun Hwa, who is aware of her secret identity as a woman, add layers of intrigue as viewers speculate on how they will respond to her crisis.
