Spoilers
In the previous episode, Lee Han Shin was falsely accused and arrested but later released after his peers—Ahn Seo Yun, Choi Hwa Ran (Baek Ji Won), Cheon Soo Beom (Jo Seung Yeon), and more—organized a petition campaign to clear his name. Upon his release, Lee Han Shin issued a bold declaration to the Ohjeong Group: “The truth will inevitably come to light,” setting the stage for a final showdown.
Initially hesitant about Lee Han Shin’s unconventional methods, Ahn Seo Yun and Choi Hwa Ran have now formed a tightly-knit team with him, showcasing their trust and teamwork. Over time, both characters have grown significantly—Ahn Seo Yun has evolved from a rule-abiding officer to someone willing to adapt for justice, while Choi Hwa Ran now prioritizes aiding Lee Han Shin over personal gain.
With Lee Han Shin’s release, the reunited trio focuses their efforts on taking down the Ohjeong Group. The newly released stills show Lee Han Shin holding a USB containing critical evidence of Ji Myung Seop’s (Lee Hak Joo) crimes, Ahn Seo Yun pointing a gun at someone, and Choi Hwa Ran heading somewhere in a car with a grim expression.
Under his father Ji Dong Man’s (Song Young Chang) protection, Ji Myung Seop has escaped punishment despite committing heinous acts, including murdering multiple people who knew he murdered Ahn Seo Yun’s sister Ahn Da Yun. Ji Dong Man, in turn, has committed further crimes to shield his son.
The newly released stills show the unrepentant nature of the father-son duo, showing Ji Myung Seop drunk and Ji Dong Man armed and on the move.
Adding to the anticipation, actress Ok Ja Yeon makes a special appearance in the finale, bringing her commanding presence to a pivotal role. A still shows her standing on a rainy street holding a sign, sparking curiosity about her character’s connection to Lee Han Shin.
The final episode of “Parole Examiner Lee” airs on December 24 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
