Jung So Min is set to make her romantic comedy comeback in the upcoming drama Would You Marry Me (literal title), with Choi Woo Shik in talks for the male lead.
Multiple industry sources confirm that Jung So Min has been cast as the female lead in the new series, which follows the story of a fake married couple navigating their newlywed life. The project comes from veteran screenwriter Lee Ha Na, known for penning Rookie Cops and Cunning Single Lady.
The potential pairing with Choi Woo Shik, currently reviewing the male lead role, has already generated buzz, promising fresh chemistry between two of Korea’s most sought-after talents.
Jung So Min, who made her acting debut in the 2010 drama Bad Guy, has recently showcased her versatility through performances in Alchemy of Souls Part 1, Love Next Door, and the movie Love Reset.
Meanwhile, Would You Marry Me is currently in active casting stages, eyeing a 2025 broadcast or streaming release. SBS is reportedly in talks to broadcast the series.
