The 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards has revealed its list of Daesang (Grand Prize) nominees!
On December 23, SBS unveiled a teaser featuring the seven contenders for the 2024 SBS Entertainment Awards Daesang appearing before a mysterious priest to deliver their confessions. Notably, the teaser was narrated by Kim Nam Gil of “The Fiery Priest 2.”
The nominees include Yoo Jae Suk, Jun Hyun Moo, Shin Dong Yup, Lee Sang Min, Seo Jang Hoon, Lee Hyun Yi, and Kim Jong Kook.
In the teaser, Lee Sang Min, known for “My Little Old Boy” and “Dolsing Fourmen,” candidly stated, “To be honest, I’d like to win the Daesang at least once,” while “Same Bed, Different Dreams” and “Shooting Stars” (“Kick a Goal”) Lee Hyun Yi showcased her determination by boldly declaring, “If you tell me to dance, I’ll dance right now!”
“Running Man” and “My Little Old Boy” Kim Jong Kook jokingly suggested, “Stamina should be a criterion for the Daesang. Please make us do sparring matches!” Jun Hyun Moo, who starred in “The Magic Star” and “Strong Heart VS,” quipped, “I want to make a big splash here on SBS,” revealing his hopes for the top prize.
On the other hand, Yoo Jae Suk of “Running Man” and “Whenever Possible” and Shin Dong Yup (“My Little Old Boy”) found themselves in tense interactions with a mysterious figure. Yoo Jae Suk expressed bewilderment, saying, “I’m so perplexed,” while Shin Dong Yup snapped, “Just shut up already!” piquing curiosity about this enigmatic figure and their role in the Daesang battle.
