“Parole Examiner Lee” is a tvN drama starring Go Soo as Lee Han Shin, a lawyer who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.
Spoilers
Previously in episode 10, Lee Han Shin was abruptly arrested on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act, leaving viewers on edge.
Amid this tension, the newly released stills capture Ji Dong Man (Song Young Chang), the chairman of Ohjeong Group and the embodiment of evil that Lee Han Shin had worked so hard to stop, being released from prison. Given that Lee Han Shin had repeatedly thwarted Ji Dong Man’s attempts at parole, curiosity is growing over how Ji Dong Man managed to secure his release this time.
What stands out the most is the intense confrontation between Ji Dong Man and Lee Han Shin at the detention center. Ji Dong Man, who visits Lee Han Shin, wears a brazen smile, while Lee Han Shin counters with a piercing glare, heightening tension.
Another set of stills features a meeting between Ji Dong Man and his son Ji Myung Seop (Lee Hak Joo). Empty liquor bottles are scattered across the table in front of Ji Myung Seop, suggesting that even after his release from custody, he has been unable to pull himself together and has been drowning himself in alcohol.
Ji Dong Man looks at Ji Myung Seop with a gaze full of disdain, while Ji Myung Seop, not backing down, returns his father’s look with eyes filled with resentment. This dynamic raises curiosity about what will happen between the father and son and what lies ahead for the fate of Ohjeong Group.
The second to final episode of “Parole Examiner Lee” will air on December 23 at 8:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
