Song Seung Heon, Cho Yeo Jeong, and Park Ji Hyun’s steamy thriller “Hidden Face” has reached an impressive box office milestone!
According to the Korean Film Council, “Hidden Face” officially surpassed 1 million moviegoers on December 22 at 3:45 p.m. KST.
With this achievement, “Hidden Face” has become the first Korean film rated 19+ to hit the 1 million mark in five years. The last film rated 19+ to reach the milestone was “Tazza: One Eyed Jack” in 2019.
“Hidden Face” is a mystery thriller starring Song Seung Heon as Sung Jin, a man searching for his missing fiancée Su Yeon (Cho Yeo Jeong). During his quest, he meets Mi Joo, a junior colleague of Su Yeon, and winds up falling for her. However, Sung Jin unexpectedly discovers that Su Yeon, whom he thought was gone for good, is actually trapped in a hidden room and helplessly watching everything that happens between the two of them.
