tvN has unveiled its lineup for 2025. Starting with When the Stars Gossip and The Queen Who Crowns, set to premiere in January, tvN plans to continue captivating viewers throughout the year with dramas featuring a wide range of themes and stories.

Seochodong (literal title)

Scheduled to air in the first half of the year, Seochodong is a legal office drama set in the Seocho-dong district, home to numerous law firms. The story follows associate lawyers from different firms in the same building as they navigate their careers and personal aspirations. Lee Jong Suk, Moon Ga Young, Kang Yoo Seok, Ryu Hye Young and Lim Sung Jae star as associate lawyers who have lunch together. Based on the experiences of former lawyer and writer Lee Seung Hyun, the drama will portray the humorous yet heartfelt daily lives and dilemmas of associate attorneys.

Typhoon Company (literal title)

Typhoon Company tells the story of a young CEO fighting to save his father’s small business named “Typhoon Trading Company” during the 1997 Asian financial crisis, all while facing his family’s own struggles. Starring Junho and Geum Sae Rok, the drama is directed by Lee Na Jung, known for See You in My 19th Life and Mine.

Divorce Insurance (literal title)

Starring Lee Dong Wook, Lee Joo Bin, Lee Kwang Soo, and Lee Da Hee, Divorce Insurance is an office romantic comedy centered on the Innovation Product Development Team of an insurance company known for gathering only the brightest minds. The story unfolds as the team launches a unique product called “Divorce Insurance,” which quantifies every aspect of divorce and calculates compensation, assigning a monetary value to separation. This fresh concept promises a relatable and engaging narrative. The drama marks the first foray into TV directing for Lee Won Suk, the director of the film Killing Romance.

Unknown Seoul (literal title)

Unknown Seoul is a romantic coming-of-age drama about twin sisters who swap lives through a lie, despite being completely different in everything except their appearance. As they navigate their switched lives, they discover true love and the meaning of life. The series promises a unique synergy with Park Bo Young and Park Jin Young, both known for their broad acting range—from deeply emotional melodramas to intense thrillers. The drama is helmed by director Park Shin Woo of It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and Jealousy Incarnate and written by Lee Kang of Youth of May.

My Happy Home (literal title)
My Happy Home tells the story of the Kim family, who restart their counterfeit money operation to cover the costs of non-reimbursable medical expenses, only to find themselves entangled with criminal organizations. The drama is written by Choi Yi Rang, known for Welcome to Wedding Hell, and directed by Kim Cheol Kyu, acclaimed for Flower of Evil and Mother.
The Tyrant’s Chef (literal title).

The Tyrant’s Chef is a fantasy survival romance about a French chef who travels 500 years into the past and meets a king who is both the worst tyrant and the ultimate gourmet. The story unfolds as their fates intertwine. The drama is directed by Jang Tae Yoo, known for Knight Flower and My Love from the Star. YoonA and Park Sung Hoon are currently in talks to star.

Potato Research Institute (literal title)

Potato Research Institute is a heartwarming comic romance set in a remote mountain potato research facility, where emotions whirl like a tornado potato. Lee Sun Bin from Work Later, Drink Now  and Kang Tae Oh from Extraordinary Attorney Woo have been confirmed as the leads. The drama reunites director ang Il Soo and written by Kim Ho Soo, who previously worked together on Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung. The show promises to deliver both laughter and heartfelt moments, garnering much anticipation.

He Is a Black Dragon (literal title)

He Is a Black Dragon is based on a popular webtoon of the same name. It tells the romance between Baek Soo Jung, a team leader known as the “Director Slayer,” haunted by her embarrassing past, and Ban Joo Yeon, a third-generation chaebol director who harbors a “black dragon” in his heart. The drama is directed by Lee Soo Hyun (Beneficial Fraud) and stars Moon Ga Young, Choi Hyun Wook, Lim Se Mi, and Kwak Si Yang.

A Very Common Sense Alcoholic (literal title)

A Very Common Sense Alchoholic is a romance about staying sober, following a woman who considers herself a perfectly reasonable drinker. She reconnects with a public health doctor who is even harder to quit than alcohol and decides to take on the challenge of giving up drinking. Sooyoung and Gong Myung are set to star in the drama. The script is written by Myung Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun, known for the My Lovely Kim Sam Soon series, while Jang Yoo Jung, the director of Finding Mr. Destiny and Honest Candidate, will helm the project.

The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl (literal title)

The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl is a fantasy romance drama based on a popular webtoon of the same name. The story follows a high school shaman who sets out to save her first love. Rising stars Cho Yi Hyun and Choo Young Woo are set to star, bringing fresh charm to the tale. The drama combines a sweet first-love romance with eerie yet touching ghostly stories, promising a unique and entertaining experience.
