Lee Pil Mo, Choi Dae Chul, Kim Dong Wan, Yoon Bak, and Lee Seok Ki will star alongside Uhm Ji Won and Ahn Jae Wook in the upcoming drama “Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers” (literal translation).
“Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers” tells the story of the five brothers of the traditional brewery Eagle Brewery, which has been making traditional liquor for three generations, and their eldest sister-in-law, who suddenly becomes the head of the family after her husband’s unexpected death just 10 days into their marriage. Uhm Ji Won and Ahn Jae Wook were previously confirmed to be playing Ma Kwang Sook, the eldest sister-in-law of the Eagle Brewery family, and Han Dong Seok, the wealthy chairman of LX Hotel, respectively.
Lee Pil Mo will take on the role of Oh Jang Soo, the kind, diligent, and honest eldest son of the Eagle Brewery family. Jang Soo is deeply principled, especially when it comes to brewing, and has a strong sense of discipline. While dedicating himself to the family business and looking after his younger brothers, Jang Soo remains unmarried until he meets Ma Kwang Sook, his destined partner, and finally ties the knot.
Choi Dae Chul will portray Oh Cheon Soo, the second son of the Eagle Brewery family. Cheon Soo is a man of few words who rarely expresses his emotions. 10 years ago, his daughter Young Joo left for early education abroad accompanied by his wife, leaving him to live alone. While doing his best as the head of the family, Cheon Soo receives shocking news from his wife, leading to unexpected events and turbulence in his life.
Kim Dong Wan will play Oh Heung Soo, the stylish and charismatic third son of the Eagle Brewery family. Heung Soo is full of passion and affection, with a charmingly outgoing personality. Known for his witty comebacks and popularity with women, he lives for fashion and spends money as fast as he earns it. Once a renowned backup dancer, he now teaches dance and Zumba classes at a community center after losing his job.
Yoon Bak will play Oh Beom Soo, the “blue chip” of the Eagle Brewery family, who was raised with the hope of lifting the family’s fortunes. A perfect model student who is both handsome and eloquent, Beom Soo is logical, rational, and proud. He attended Stanford University on a full scholarship and returned as a professor at a prestigious university in Seoul. However, at the peak of his success, unexpected challenges arise, adding tension and intrigue to the drama.
Lastly, Lee Seok Ki will portray Oh Kang Soo, the youngest son of the Eagle Brewery family. Kang Soo has a warm, polite, and well-rounded personality. He embodies the perfect soldier when in uniform as a non-commissioned officer of the UDT, but he reveals his unexpected cute and endearing side when in civilian clothes.
The production team behind “Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers” commented, “The five brothers, each of whom has his own story, will come together under one household with Ma Kwang Sook at its center. “Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers” is set to premiere in February 2025.
