MBC’s “When the Phone Rings” swept the top spots in this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!
This week, “When the Phone Rings” rose to No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.
Not only did “When the Phone Rings” top the list of most buzzworthy dramas, but its leads also dominated the list of most buzzworthy cast members, where Yoo Yeon Seok and Chae Soo Bin jumped to No. 1 and No. 2 respectively.
SBS’s “The Fiery Priest 2” took No. 2 on the drama list this week, with star Kim Nam Gil climbing to No. 4 on the actor list.
In its final week on air, JTBC’s “Family by Choice” held steady at No. 3 on the drama list, while leads Hwang In Youp and Jung Chaeyeon ranked No. 8 and No. 10 respectively on the actor list.
tvN’s “Love Your Enemy” held onto its spot at No. 4 on the drama list, while stars Ju Ji Hoon and Jung Yu Mi rose to No. 5 and No. 7 respectively on the actor list.
Finally, JTBC’s “The Tale of Lady Ok” debuted at No. 5 on the drama list this week, with its leading lady Lim Ji Yeon entering the actor rankings at No. 3.
