tvN’s “Parole Examiner Lee” is entering the second half of its run!
“Parole Examiner Lee” tells the story of lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.

How will Lee Han Shin take down Ojung Group?
Lee Han Shin’s ultimate goal is to take down Ojung Group, which is headed by Ji Dong Man (Song Young Chang) and Ji Myeong Seop (Lee Hak Joo). However, on the previous episode of the drama, Ji Dong Man was seen attempting to use the fact that he knew Cheon Soo Beom was Lee Han Shin’s weakness.
Between Ji Dong Man’s ruthlessness and Ji Myeong Seop’s utter lack of conscience, it became clear that Lee Han Shin’s fight to take down these villains won’t be an easy one. What sort of strategy will Lee Han Shin employ to destroy Ojung Group and punish Ji Dong Man and Ji Myeong Seop?
Will Ahn Seo Yun be able to uncover the secret of her sister’s death?
Ahn Seo Yun, who is investigating the death of her younger sister Ahn Da Yun, previously learned that Ji Myeong Seop was at the scene of the crime. She then tried to learn the truth of what had happened through Choi Jung Hak—but after Ji Myeong Seop returned to the country, Choi Jung Hak was found dead, and Ahn Seo Yun had to start over in her hunt for evidence. Will Ahn Seo Yun be able to get to the bottom of the case and uncover the hidden truth behind her sister’s death?
How will Choi Hwa Ran change after meeting Lee Han Shin?
At first, Choi Hwa Ran (Baek Ji Won) agreed to team up with Lee Han Shin because of money. However, after they joined forces, Lee Han Shin wound up leaving a deep impression on her—and Choi Hwa Ran found herself gradually changing. Now, Choi Hwa Ran is working with Lee Han Shin because of Lee Han Shin himself, not for financial incentives. How far will she go in her transformation and her alliance with Lee Han Shin?
What sort of ending lies in store for Ji Myeong Seop?
As soon as Ji Myeong Seop entered the picture, he turned the world of “Parole Examiner Lee” upside down. Immediately upon his arrival, he made a powerful impact and began shaking things up: in spite of Ji Dong Man’s warning, he moved on his own and murdered Choi Jung Hak, raising the question of just how far he would go in his evildoings.
How will the conflict between Lee Han Shin and the relentlessly evil Ji Myeong Seop play out, and will Ji Myeong Seop finally get his comeuppance?
