Ryu Hye Young and Nam Yoon Su have shared their thoughts on their upcoming film “Killing Time” (literal title).
“Killing Time” is a thriller about an internet broadcast team that gains popularity with provocative content, only to face a tragic incident when one of its members dies during a live stream. The story follows the team’s dangerous decisions as they strive for a successful comeback. The film stars Ryu Hye Young, Nam Yoon Su, Kim Seung Hee, Lee Woo Je, Bae Myung Jin, Lee Kyu Hyun, Ji Soo Yeon, and Oh Min Su.
Ryu Hye Young plays Yeon Woo, a character who becomes publicly known due to the team’s success but is left traumatized after the accident involving a team member. She shared, “It was physically and emotionally exhausting, but I overcame it with the united energy of all the cast members. It was an honor to work with the director and fellow actors.”
Nam Yoon Su plays Joo Won, a producer who becomes increasingly obsessed with creating intense and shocking content after the success of the show “Killing Time.” He commented, “I was captivated by the script’s uniqueness and really wanted to play the role of Joo Won. I’m truly excited to see how it will turn out. Thanks to the efforts of my fellow actors, who worked hard to create the best scenes, the atmosphere on set was close-knit. I hope viewers eagerly anticipate this gripping film full of suspense.”
Director Jang Joon Yeop remarked, “It was a set where every actor’s passion and professionalism shone. I will dedicate myself to post-production to ensure this is a unique and high-quality film.”
“Killing Time” is scheduled to hit theaters in 2025.
