In the film, Lee Seo Yeon displays erratic behavior and strong desires, such as asking her ex-husband Han Jeong Won (played by Gong Yoo) for a temporary marriage after their divorce.
Kim explained, “To better convey her character, I felt a bed scene was needed to show her obsession with Jeong Won and how she releases her anger in a raw, primal way after getting his call.”

He also revealed that this was his first time shooting a bed scene. “It was my first time shooting something with an adult tone. On set, I was nervous, trying to consider and care for the actors. We had to finish quickly, but I had many discussions with the actors beforehand.”
There were also questions about the differing levels of intensity in the sex scenes between In Ji and Han Jeong Won, and Lee Seo Yeon and Yoon Ji Oh. Kim explained that the emotional tone of the characters was different. “The bed scene between In Ji and Jeong Won is about love, so I wanted to focus on beauty rather than raw emotion. That level of exposure wasn’t necessary. But for Seo Yeon, I felt an extreme approach was needed to fully capture her intense character.”
