tvN’s “Parole Examiner Lee” has unveiled new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
“Parole Examiner Lee” is a new drama about lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics. Girls’ Generation’s Yuri stars as Ahn Seo Yun, an ace detective who teams up with Lee Han Shin to catch bad guys.
The newly released stills highlight a tense encounter between Lee Han Shin and Choi Hwa Ran (Baek Ji Won), a notorious loan shark. In the scene, Lee Han Shin visits Choi Hwa Ran’s office, where she greets him with a cautious and suspicious gaze.
Before Lee Han Shin’s arrival, Choi Hwa Ran is shown engaged in a debt collection operation. Known for her habit of carrying ice, she is infamous for a trace-free method as fleeting as melting ice. Despite her fierce and commanding presence, Lee Han Shin remains unfazed, countering her hostility with his trademark sly smile.
The production team revealed that this is not the first time Lee Han Shin and Choi Hwa Ran have crossed paths. Their shared history is fraught with unresolved tension, fueling Choi Hwa Ran’s heightened animosity toward him. In response, Lee Han Shin makes a bold and calculated proposal, saying, “I’ll get your money back.”
Viewers are curious to find out what kind of money Lee Han Shin has promised to retrieve for Choi Hwa Ran and how he intends to succeed where even the legendary loan shark has failed.
