Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin’s highly-anticipated space romance drama is finally gearing up for its premiere!
tvN’s new weekend drama “When the Stars Gossip” is a space office romance about Commander Eve (Gong Hyo Jin) who works at a zero-gravity space station, and Gong Ryong (Lee Min Ho), an unwelcome guest with a secret mission.
Lee Min Ho will play Gong Ryong, an OB-GYN (obstetrician-gynecologist) who will be staying at the space station for a few days as a space tourist. Gong Ryong is also the future son-in-law of the MZ Group, the richest conglomerate in Korea. Heading to space with a secret mission that he cannot tell anyone, Gong Ryong raises questions about his secret goal.
Gong Hyo Jin will take on the role of Commander Eve Kim, who heads to the space station after receiving her first mission as a commander. Eve Kim is a perfectionist who cannot allow a single mistake as she strictly adheres to the rules in the dangerous space, making viewers curious whether top space scientist Eve Kim will complete her mission successfully.
Oh Jung Se will play Kang Kang Soo, a fruit fly research scientist working at the space station. As the second son of the owner family of a global financial company, Kang Kang Soo has lived a carefree life, but he suddenly ventures into space, enjoying a dangerous escapade.
Han Ji Eun plays Gong Ryong’s girlfriend Choi Go Eun. As the only remaining heir of MZ Group’s chairman, Choi Go Eun not only possess beauty and intelligence, but she is also highly capable, making her a great role model.
Kim Joo Hun will play veteran astronaut Park Dong Ah who is a member of Seoul MCC’s Ground Control Center, and Lee El will play Chief Kang, who manages and commands MCC’s Ground Control Center, connecting the Earth to space.
Furthermore, Lee Cho Hee will play the dual roles of twin sisters Mina Lee and Dona Lee, who have complete opposite personalities, and Heo Nam Jun will play space scientist Lee Seung Joon who researches mice with dementia in space.
The star-studded ensemble raises anticipation for the lively chemistry between the cast members.
