tvN’s “Parole Examiner Lee” has unveiled new stills ahead of tonight’s episode!
“Parole Examiner Lee” tells the story of lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining parole through money, connections, or deceitful tactics.
Spoilers
In the first episode, Lee Han Shin worked as a personal attorney for Ojung Group’s Ji Dong Man (Song Young Chang) and went to great lengths to become a parole examiner. By the end of the episode, it was revealed that his determination stems from a singular mission: to prevent Ji Dong Man’s parole.
In the newly released stills, viewers get a glimpse of Lee Han Shin’s first day as an official parole examiner. Now one of the five examiners, Lee Han Shin appears to pour all his passion and pent-up frustration into the review process.
Particularly striking is the tense confrontation between Lee Han Shin and Ji Dong Man, who now faces parole review. Unlike his previous obsequious behavior as Ji Dong Man’s subordinate, Lee Han Shin exudes a starkly different energy, creating an atmosphere of palpable tension.
Another still shows police officer Ahn Seo Yun (Yuri) standing confidently before Ji Dong Man, dressed in her uniform. Positioned between Ji Dong Man and the rest of the parole examiners, Seo Yoon commands attention with her presence and fierce charisma.
Seo Yun’s unexpected appearance is part of Lee Han Shin’s secret strategy. To block Ji Dong Man’s parole, at least three out of the five examiners must vote against it, meaning Lee Han Shin cannot succeed on his own.
Will Lee Han Shin be able to overcome Ji Dong Man’s influence, which extends even to appointing parole examiners?
The next episode of “Parole Examiner Lee” will air on November 19 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
