Upcoming drama “Check in Hanyang” has shared new stills featuring Kim Ji Eun!
Set in the Joseon Dynasty, “Check in Hanyang” is a historical romance drama that depicts the growth and love stories of youths who join as “interns” at Yongcheonlu, the largest inn in Joseon
Kim Ji Eun takes on the role of Hong Deok Soo, a woman who disguises herself as a man for undisclosed reasons. She struggles fiercely to survive while keeping her true identity a secret at Yongcheonlu.
The stills showcase various sides of Hong Deok Soo. In one photo, she exudes powerful charisma in a blue robe and traditional hat. Another image shows her wearing the uniform of a Yongcheonlu apprentice with a determined expression on her face.
The last photo captures Hong Deok Soo in a pink skirt and veil. She exudes an elegant and ethereal aura in stark contrast to her aura when dressed as a man.
The production team remarked, “Despite this being her first historical drama and cross-dressing role, Kim Ji Eun perfectly embodied the character of Hong Deok Soo, thanks to her exceptional script analysis and thorough preparation. “Check in Hanyang” will premiere on December 21 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
