Kim Jung Hyun, Heo Nam Jun, Lee Won Jung, Shin Ye Eun, and Kim Da Mi may be teaming up for the upcoming drama “A Hundred Memories” (working title)!
On November 18, a representative from Kim Jung Hyun’s agency Story J Company shared, “Kim Jung Hyun has received an offer to star in ‘A Hundred Memories’ and is positively reviewing it.”
Heo Nam Jun and Lee Won Jung are also reportedly cast in the drama, though their representatives have yet to comment on the reports.
Set in the 1980s, “A Hundred Memories” delves into the friendship of two female bus conductors whose love stories become entangled with one man who seems to be their fated destiny. The drama is directed by Kim Sang Ho of JTBC’s “Thirty-Nine” and penned by Yang Hee Seung, the writer behind “Oh My Ghost,” “Weightlifting Fairy, Kim Bok Joo,” and “Crash Course in Romance.”
Kim Da Mi and Shin Ye Eun are in talks to portray Go Young Rye and Seo Jong Hee, two bus conductors working at Cheong Ah Transportation.
Kim Jung Hyun has reportedly been offered the role of Jung Hyun, a university student and the eldest son of the chaebol family behind Hwashin Electronics. Jung Hyun is known as the perfect man who even entered Seoul’s prestigious law school as the top student. After studying abroad, he returns and becomes a successful CEO, only to reunite with Go Young Rye, the younger sister of his friend Young Sik, reigniting feelings he thought were long forgotten.
Heo Nam Jun is reportedly cast as Han Jae Pil, a man who is born with a golden spoon with an appearance that exudes wealth and status. However, behind his seemingly perfect exterior lies a character scarred by the pain of his mother’s absence and resentment toward his father.
Lee Won Jung is reportedly cast as Ma Sang Chul, a cheerful, reckless, and carefree character. Despite being a year younger than Han Jae Pil, his playful charm, easygoing nature, and unwavering loyalty make him Jae Pil’s closest friend.
“A Hundred Memories” is set to begin filming in early 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
