The upcoming film “About Family” has released a new trailer and poster!
“About Family” tells the story of the owner of Pyungmanok, a popular dumpling restaurant, who suddenly finds himself living with unexpected guests—two adorable grandchildren he never knew he had. Ham Moo Ok (Kim Yun Seok), the owner of the restaurant, believed his family line had ended when his son Ham Moon Seok (Lee Seung Gi) became a monk.
The new poster captures Ham Moo Ok, Ham Moon Seok, Mrs. Bang (Kim Sung Ryung), and the grandchildren gathered in front of Pyungmanok, the dumpling restaurant run by Ham Moo Ok. As if posing for a family photo, they look directly into the camera while wearing bright smiles.
Adding to the curiosity about their story and relationships, the caption asks, “How far does the definition of ‘family’ go?”
The accompanying trailer offers a closer look at the main characters. Ham Moo Ok, who became rich by selling dumplings and even bought a building, faces a crisis when his son, Ham Moon Seok, decides to become a monk. However, his life takes a 180-degree turn when two young children claiming to be his grandchildren unexpectedly appear.
The trailer showcases the chemistry between the characters and hints at a story that balances humor and emotion. Check it out below!
