Seo In Guk, Jo Byeong Gyu, Yoo In Soo, and JINI will be starring together in the upcoming film “Boy” (literal title)!

On November 13, the production company of “Boy” announced that the filming for the film has been completed.

“Boy” is a film that intertwines youth romance and crime. It is set in the fictional city of Pogu. The story revolves around incidents that occur in the Texas Hot Springs. The film is directed by Lee Sang Duk, who previously directed the 2019 film “Film Adventure.”

Jo Byeong Gyu plays the role of Ro Han, a boy who has lived a life where crime is part of his everyday experience. He remarked, “I expect the movie to be as good as the intense filming set.”

Seo In Guk plays a mysterious crime boss. He described the film as “a story that combines the passion and darkness of youth” and expressed his hope for viewers’ interest in the film.

Yoo In Soo plays Ro Han’s older brother Gyo Hwan. He commented, “After reading the script, I really wanted to play this role. I had a great time filming and am very grateful for the opportunity.”

Former NMIXX member JINI, who is making her acting debut in “Boy,” plays the character Jane. She shared, “I had a happy time working on ‘Boy.’”

Director Lee Sang Duk remarked, “I’ll work hard to make this a unique film that captures both the passion and darkness of youth.”

The production team shared two photos ahead of the film’s premiere. One photo captures Jo Byeong Gyu on the filming set of “Boy,” while the other gives the first glimpse of his character. 

“Boy” is set to premiere in the first half of next year.
