Ji Chang Wook showcased his secondhand shopping expertise on the latest episode of SBS’s Whenever Possible, where he entertained fans with stories of his recent purchases, including Pokémon stickers and a game coupon bought through a resale app.

During the episode, Ji shared that he purchased a collectible Pokémon sticker set, known as “Ddibuddibu Seals,” for 260,000 KRW (approx. 190 USD). “I asked the seller to lower the price a bit, and we finally settled on 260,000,” he laughed, describing how he ventured out in a mask to meet the seller at Dongdaemun’s Migliore shopping mall to make the exchange.

Explaining his motivation, Ji said, “I just wanted to actually use the stickers. People usually collect them, but I wanted to stick them everywhere.” He’s since adorned various items with the stickers, saying, “It’s kind of my rebellion against the idea of keeping them pristine,” adding with a grin, “And I still have plenty left.”

Ji also recounted buying a mobile game skin coupon on the resale market. “There was a pop-up store for the game I play, but I couldn’t make it in person to get the coupon, so I bought it secondhand for 120,000 KRW (approx. 90 USD).” Laughing, he shared how he went to Nonhyeon-dong to make sure it was legitimate. “You can’t be too careful. Meeting in person was part of the thrill, especially to make sure it wasn’t a used code.”

Yoo Jae Suk asked if the seller recognized him, to which Ji replied, “They mostly do,” with a sheepish smile. When Yoo teased him about the seller’s reaction, Ji admitted, “They’re not that surprised, but they do ask why I’m buying these things. I just tell them I like playing games.”
