Upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “The Fiery Priest” Season 2 has unveiled the latest behind-the-scenes video, offering a glimpse into the first day of filming!

SBS’s “The Fiery Priest,” which first aired in 2019 and recorded a peak viewership rating of 22.0 percent, is about a Catholic priest with anger management issues and a cowardly detective as they work together to solve a murder case. Kim Nam Gil, Lee Ha Nee, Kim Sung Kyun, and more from Season 1 will be reprising their roles in the upcoming season.

In the newly released video, Kim Nam Gil returns to Yakhyeon Catholic Church, where he is greeted by Kim Sung Kyun, who is there to support him on his first day of shooting. The duo reminisces about their time filming the first season, with Kim Sung Kyun saying, “It’s been a long time since we were last here.” Kim Nam Gil adds, “I feel like I’m coming home.” Their playful banter also reveals how close they are off-camera.

Another scene of the video features Lee Ha Nee interacting with new cast member Seo Hyun Woo at his character’s office. Lee Ha Nee playfully teases him, saying, “Aren’t you too young to be a chief prosecutor? A chief prosecutor looks like an idol!”

In a separate interview, the actress shares her impressions, saying “The atmosphere on set is great today. I’ve already worked with the director from Season 1, and even with the new members, we’re in perfect harmony as if we’ve collaborated for a long time.”
