tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Parole Examiner Lee” has released new character posters!
“Parole Examiner Lee” follows lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining paroles through money, connections, or deceitful tactics.
The character posters showcase Go Soo, Yuri, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Hak Joo, highlighting their unique traits and generating significant buzz. The characters include a parole examiner, an ace detective in the special investigations unit, a legendary loan shark, and a second-generation chaebol, promising diverse portrayals that increase excitement for the upcoming broadcast.
Go Soo plays Lee Han Shin, the ironclad parole examiner. His sharp gaze suggests he is evaluating a parole applicant, demonstrating his commitment to ensuring that no one is released until they have fully served their sentence or shown genuine remorse. The accompanying phrase, “You can’t go back into society yet. You still haven’t paid for all your actions,” builds anticipation for his compelling performance in holding wrongdoers accountable.
Yuri shines with charisma in her role as Ahn Seo Yun, the ace detective. The phrase, “I will definitely catch you,” highlights her determination. Dressed in active denim and a leather jacket, she embodies her character, radiating a fierce intensity that suggests she will capture all wrongdoers.
Baek Ji Won portrays Choi Hwa Ran, a legend in the loan shark industry. With dazzling accessories, a luxurious fur coat, and striking makeup, she highlights her flashy personality. The phrase, “To make money… you have to endure the hassle,” underscores her willingness to do anything for wealth. However, how she will become involved in Lee Han Shin’s plan to uphold justice remains a mystery, sparking curiosity among viewers.
Finally, Lee Hak Joo plays Ji Myung Seob, the arrogant second-generation chaebol. His relaxed pose and chilling expression capture the essence of the ultimate villain. The phrase, “Why are you acting up without knowing your place?” sums up his fearless lifestyle. In the character poster, vertical striped graphics that were once just background now obscure Ji Myung Seob, creating the illusion of prison bars. This raises the question of whether Lee Han Shin, Ahn Seo Yun, and Choi Hwa Ran can stop Ji Myung Seob’s malicious actions as he emerges from behind those bars.
The production team stated, “The greatest strength of our drama is the variety and uniqueness of the characters,” adding, “We hope viewers will look forward to the character combination created by Go Soo, Yuri, Baek Ji Won, and Lee Hak Joo, which promises to bring laughter and fun.”
“Parole Examiner Lee” is set to premiere on November 18 at 8:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
