Netflix has unveiled Squid Game Season 2‘s new teaser, and actor Park Sung Hoon’s dramatic transformation has become a hot topic.


Netflix released teaser posters, trailers, and preview pictures for the series today. This season will focus on the intense rivalry between Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who returns to the game seeking revenge, and the Front Man (Lee Byung Hun), who awaits him. It will also delve into the story of a new game that is about to begin.

The trailer shows the participants taking photos before the game begins to the cheerful mechanical sound of “smile.” The appearances of newly joined Park Sung Hoon, Choi Seung Hyun (T.O.P), Yang Dong Geun, Lim Si Wan and Kang Ha Neul are particularly eye-catching.

Among them, Park Sung Hoon, who left a strong impression on the public as Jeon Jae Jun in Netflix series The Glory, is drawing attention with his radical transformation. In the teaser, Park Sung Hoon appears with short hair, thick eyeliner and pink lipstick. At first glance, he could be mistaken for an actress.


Some netizens have speculated that Park Sung Hoon might be playing a cross-dressing character. However, the role Park Sung Hoon plays in Squid Game 2 has not yet been revealed, adding to the curiosity. Even the official character introduction lists his character as “undisclosed.”


Squid Game 2 is scheduled for global release on Netflix on December 26th.
