MBC’s upcoming drama “When the Phone Rings” has dropped new stills!
Based on a web novel, “When the Phone Rings” depicts the romance of a couple that married for convenience as they receive a threatening phone call. The series boasts a strong cast including Yoo Yeon Seok, Chae Soo Bin, and Heo Nam Jun.
The newly released stills below capture Yoo Yeon Seok and Jang Gyu Ri, who play former colleagues at a broadcasting station, Baek Sa Eon and Na Yu Ri, respectively. Before becoming a spokesperson, Sa Eon was as an anchor who dominated the scene with his handsome looks, intense gaze, and precise diction.
Rookie announcer Yu Ri is seen calmly continuing the news broadcast despite difficult questions posed by her senior, Sa Eon.
More stills below feature a tense encounter between Sa Eon and Yu Ri, sparking curiosity about what will transpire between the two. The strict mentor Sa Eon has his arms crossed, looking sternly at Yu Ri, while Yu Ri gazes back at him with smudged eye makeup.
Viewers are curious to find out what will make Yu Ri, who is brought to tears by Sa Eon, openly admire him later on.
