In Tuesday’s latest video uploaded to the official BTS channel, BTS’ Jin expressed intense fear while exploring a haunted house. Titled “I Met a Ghost for Real,” the clip is part of the series Run Jin.
During the video, filmed at a Folk Village, Jin donned a traditional hanbok and humorously remarked, “This scenery feels so familiar. It feels like I’ve returned to the Joseon Dynasty.” His task was to find five straw dolls to escape from a mythical man-eating spirit called Shikgui. Despite his initial enthusiasm, he quickly became intimidated by the eerie atmosphere, likening it to a classic horror film. He voiced his concerns about the lighting crew’s safety, joking, “If the lighting crew gets caught at the door, won’t they be stuck even if a ghost is chasing them?”
After a sudden ghostly appearance, Jin noticed a woman dressed as a maiden ghost holding a tissue. He humorously pointed out the historical inaccuracy, asking, “Why is she holding a tissue in the Joseon Dynasty?”
As he searched for the straw dolls, he screamed in surprise at the sight of ghosts, exclaiming, “Please don’t do this! Director, this is crazy!” When confronted by the Shikgui, he humorously shouted, “Don’t eat my legs, just go get some food!” which elicited hearty laughter.
Reflecting on his experience after barely completing the mission, Jin said, “These beads of sweat are telling you how I feel. Can I really go back to my house in Yongsan? This concludes the horror special that you all wanted, ARMY!” Despite the scares, he emphasized his commitment to his fans, stating, “I put in a lot of effort because I believed this is what the fans wanted. If that’s the case, Sukjin will continue to push forward.”
