Fans recently got a glimpse of BTS member Jungkook for the first time since his military enlistment. On Monday, a video showcasing Jungkook during his service began circulating online, generating significant excitement among ARMYs.

In the video, Jungkook beams as he earnestly signs autographs at a restaurant. Even while in military service, he maintains his sculpted idol looks. Towards the end of the video, he expresses his gratitude, saying, “I’m the one who’s more thankful,” as he warmly shakes hands and bows respectfully to a fan who requested his autograph, creating a heartwarming moment.

Fans commented, “He’s so kind and sweet,” and “His gaze and expressions are so warm.” Jungkook enlisted in December alongside fellow member Jimin and is currently serving in the 5th Infantry Division, with a scheduled discharge in June 2025.

In June, fellow member Jin completed his military service, and J-Hope was discharged last week. J-Hope expressed his gratitude, saying, “I returned healthy and safe. I’m really thankful,” adding, “Thanks to all the fans, I was able to finish my military service without any issues.”

J-Hope elaborated, “Over the past year and a half, the soldiers have worked hard and dedicated themselves to protecting the country. I believe that the warm interest and love from the public adds even greater meaning to our service.” In closing, he expressed his gratitude for the support, saying, “Thank you for your tremendous encouragement and love. I returned healthy and safe!” He ended with a spirited salute, exclaiming, “Loyalty!”

Despite his military service, Jungkook continues to enjoy immense popularity. According to Billboard, his songs “Seven” and “Standing Next to You” have remained on the charts for 65 weeks and 49 weeks, respectively.
