KBS2’s upcoming drama “Face Me” has unveiled an intriguing new teaser!
“Face Me” is a KBS2 mystery thriller that follows the unlikely partnership between cold plastic surgeon Cha Jung Woo (Lee Min Ki) and passionate detective Lee Min Hyung (Han Ji Hyun), who team up to solve crime by utilizing reconstructive surgeries for the victims.
The teaser begins with a tense exchange between the two leads, with Cha Jung Woo asking what Lee Min Hyung wants to say. She pointedly responds, “Someone told me sharp-eyed Dr. Cha Jung Woo can see things others can’t,” teasing the start of their unlikely collaboration.
It also highlights Cha Jung Woo’s cold and detached demeanor, as he remains unfazed in front of patients, even suggesting they transfer to another hospital without a hint of empathy. His coldness is further emphasized when a patient angrily throws something, but he simply turns his back.
However, a mysterious case begins to awaken something in him. Cha Jung Woo showcases his sharp skills by identifying problems just from the shape of a wound, drawing him deeper into a partnership with detective Lee Min Hyung. The teaser also shows the two racing somewhere together, accompanied by Chief Director Kim Seok Hoon (Jeon Bae Soo)’s voiceover, “Why is he starting to get more involved in [criminal] cases?” signaling Jung Woo’s transformation from a distant surgeon to someone increasingly drawn in the unfolding mysteries.
