Kim Nam Gil has shared his thoughts on his upcoming drama “The Fiery Priest 2”!
SBS’s “The Fiery Priest,” which first aired in 2019 and recorded a peak viewership rating of 22.0 percent, is about a Catholic priest with anger management issues and a cowardly detective who work together to solve a murder case. Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, Kim Sung Kyun, and more from Season 1 will be reprising their roles in the upcoming season.
Kim Nam Gil, who plays as Kim Hae Il, gives fans a glimpse of an upgraded version of his character’s rage and determination. The stills feature scenes where Kim Hae Il reaches peak anger levels from his very first appearance. Dressed in a priest’s robe, he strides purposefully toward his destination, building anticipation for the justice he seeks through his mission.
Even during the day, he has a fierce gaze that shows his seriousness about confronting evil. He demonstrates exceptional martial arts skills in intense battles and humorously rants about the “high-speed pass” to heaven during mass. With Season 2 promising to be on a bigger scale, viewers are eager to see how Kim Hae Il will capture their hearts.
