Hwang Young Woong’s On Your Side has claimed the top spot on Circle Chart’s Weekly Retail Album Chart for Week 42 (October 13th-19th, 2024). The album sold an impressive 629,245 copies in retail stores, securing its position as the week’s best-selling album.

On Your Side saw the highest sales during the chart’s tracking period on the first day of its release, Tuesday, October 15, at 4 PM.

As Hwang Young Woong’s first full-length album, On Your Side features 12 tracks, including the title track of the same name. The album showcases a variety of genres, blending epic storytelling with catchy pop melodies.

In second place on the Weekly Retail Album Chart is SEVENTEEN’s 12th Mini Album SPILL THE FEELS, while ITZY’s GOLD took the third spot.

The Daily Retail Album Chart for Week 42 showed a variety of artists leading each day. AB6IX’s BORN LIKE THIS (POCA) topped the chart on October 13th, followed by SEVENTEEN’s SPILL THE FEELS on October 14th. Hwang Young Woong’s On Your Side dominated from October 15th to 17th, before SEVENTEEN returned to the top on October 18th. KISS OF LIFE took first place on October 19th with their album Lose Yourself.

With such strong debut sales, On Your Side is clearly making a mark in the music industry, reaffirming Hwang Young Woong’s growing popularity and impact on the K-pop scene.
