Kim Sejeong and Kang Tae Oh may be starring in a new drama together!
On October 19, TenAsia reported that Kim Sejeong and Kang Tae Oh will be starring as the leads of MBC’s new drama “The Moon Flows in This River” (working title).
In response to the report, a source from Kim Sejeong’s agency Jellyfish Entertainment shared, “Kim Sejeong received an offer to star in ‘The Moon Flows in This River,’ and she is positively reviewing the offer.”
“The Moon Flows in This River” is reportedly described to be a romance drama that is akin to the “historical version of ‘Secret Garden.’”
Kim Sejeong debuted as a member of I.O.I in 2016 after starring on “Produce 101,” and she also promoted music as a member of gugudan afterwards. After starting her acting career through “School 2017,” she starred in “The Uncanny Counter,” “A Business Proposal,” “Today’s Webtoon,” and more. She is currently gearing up for the November 4 premiere of her new rom-com “Brewing Love” with Lee Jong Won.
Kang Tae Oh made his acting debut in 2013 through the web drama “After School: Lucky or Not,” and he starred in numerous hit dramas including “Run On,” “The Tale of Nokdu,” “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” and more. Earlier this year, he was confirmed to star in the new rom-com “Potato Research Institute” (literal title) alongside Lee Sun Bin as his first project following his discharge from the military.
