Upcoming movie “Devils Stay” has unveiled new stills featuring its three main characters!
“Devils Stay” is an occult horror story that unfolds over three days during a funeral and wake. The plot revolves around an exorcism ritual held to prevent something sinister from awakening in the heart of a deceased daughter.
The newly released stills vividly capture the dynamic narratives of its main characters—Cha Seung Do (Park Shin Yang), Priest Van (Lee Min Ki), and Cha So Mi (Lee Re).
In one image, Seung Do, who attempts to save his deceased daughter, is seen displaying a mix of confusion and despair at the funeral site. Another photo depicts him looking upward as if witnessing something unbelievable, raising curiosity about the challenges he will face in the film.
Meanwhile, Priest Van is dressed in a black cassock, looking serious and determined. He performed an exorcism ritual before So Mi’s death and is now focused on banishing the evil spirit that haunts her.
The stills also capture both sides of So Mi’s character—innocent and possessed. In one image, she wears a gentle smile while in a wheelchair, showing warmth and affection for her father. In contrast, another shot portrays her in a terrifying state, strangling someone, effectively illustrating her drastic transformation following a heart transplantation surgery.
“Devils Stay” will hit theaters in November.
