Rapper Loco has officially parted ways with AOMG.

On October 3, AOMG announced, “Hello, this is AOMG. We would like to inform you that Loco’s exclusive contract with AOMG has ended. We sincerely thank Loco, who has made AOMG shine for a long time since 2013, and all the fans who have shown him much love and support. AOMG will continue to support Loco as he embarks on new challenges and activities. We ask for your unwavering warm interest and encouragement in his new journey. Thank you.”

On the same day at 6 p.m. KST, Loco released his new single “SEE YOU” across various online music platforms. Following the release, he took to his Instagram to express, “Today marks my departure from AOMG, where I’ve spent the past 10 years.”

Loco reflected, “AOMG has always been a company that closely listened to its artists and supported them in realizing their visions. Thanks to them, I was able to pursue the music I wanted and take on new challenges. I sincerely thank everyone who has been with me along the way.”

Regarding the newly released single, he explained, “I’ve poured in the things I wanted to say. I felt that a simple farewell wouldn’t suffice to capture the precious time of the past ten years, which led me to prepare this song. Initially, I thought this track would make my departure today a bit more beautiful, but hearing the completed song makes me feel even more emotional.” He added, “Please continue to support AOMG, and I hope you look forward to my future activities.”

This news follows the recent exits of fellow AOMG artists Gray, Woo Won Jae, Lee Hi, and GooseBumps, who also left the label earlier in March. In April, Simon Dominic and CODE KUNST also announced their exits from the label.

Wishing Loco all the best in his future endeavors!
