MBC’s upcoming drama “Doubt” has unveiled a new glimpse of Chae Won Bin’s mysterious character!
“Doubt” is a psychological thriller about the dilemma faced by Korea’s top criminal profiler Jang Tae Soo (Han Suk Kyu), who unexpectedly discovers that his daughter Ha Bin (Chae Won Bin) is hiding a secret related to a murder case that he is investigating.
Although Jang Tae Soo is a renowned profiler known for his keen perception, his teenage daughter Ha Bin isn’t afraid to boldly lie to him. Though she may seem like an ordinary high school student, Ha Bin takes after her father in being remarkably clever and observant—and when her father begins to suspect her of being involved in murder, she plays endless mind games with him while delivering shocking plot twists.
In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Ha Bin wears an unreadable expression, with a chilling poker face that makes it impossible to guess what she’s thinking. Her intense gaze also suggests that she’s not the typical high school student.
Praising Chae Won Bin’s performance, the “Doubt” production team remarked, “Not only her voice, but her gaze and aura are very charming. We think she’ll draw viewers in with her refreshing and unique appeal.”
They went on to tease, “In the story, Ha Bin will definitely make a big impact as a character hiding a secret that will turn her father Tae Soo’s life upside down. We ask that you please root for Chae Won Bin, who will rise [to stardom] through her role in ‘Doubt.’”
“Doubt” will air its first two episodes on October 11 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
