tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Parole Examiner Lee” has offered a sneak peek into its first script reading!
Directed by Yoon Sang Ho and written by Park Chi Hyung, “Parole Examiner Lee” follows lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining paroles through money, connections, or deceitful tactics.
In the newly released video, actors including Go Soo, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri, Song Young Chang, Hwang Woo Seul Hye, Jo Seung Yeon, and more were present at the script reading. Go Soo and Yuri also share their thoughts through interviews about the drama. The pair express their excitement during interviews, giving viewers a glimpse into what to expect from the series.
Go Soo expresses his optimism, stating, “I think many viewers will enjoy the new material and story. I’m also looking forward to it.” Yuri, who portrays Ahn Seo Yun, a top detective in the Violent Crime Investigation Unit, shares her excitement as well. “I have no doubt that many people will be attracted to this fun and exciting story,” she says.
Reflecting on the script reading experience, Go Soo remarks, “It was fun and lively to see the characters I had only seen through text come to life with their own unique emotions.” Yuri adds her thoughts on the experience, saying, “I received good energy, so I’m really looking forward to filming.”
As the interview comes to a close, Go Soo concludes with a heartfelt appeal: “We ask for your love and interest for ‘Parole Examiner Lee.’” Yuri chimes in, saying, “Please look forward to it and support us.”
