The spin-off of “Forest of Secrets,” titled “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard,” has unveiled an intense new poster!
On September 25, TVING released a new poster for “Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard” featuring Seo Dong Jae (Lee Jun Hyuk) and Nam Wan Sung (Park Sung Woong) who are set to face off fiercely.
In the spin-off “Dongjae: The Good or the Bastard,” Lee Jun Hyuk reprises his role as the corrupt prosecutor Seo Dong Jae. The series focuses on Dong Jae’s challenges as a prosecutor at the Cheongju District Prosecutors’ Office, struggling with a tarnished reputation due to his past corruption. Seo Dong Jae will face off against Nam Wan Sung (Park Sung Woong), the CEO of Lee Hong Construction. Their intense and gripping conflict uncovers past errors and adds excitement to the storyline.
In the newly released poster, Seo Dong Jae’s eyes are filled with turmoil as if he has intense inner conflict. In contrast, Nam Wan Sung gazes at him coldly with a composed facial expression. Nam Wan Sung appears before Seo Dong Jae as he aims to transition from a corrupt prosecutor to a exemplary prosecutor and reminds him of a past he wishes to hide.
In addition, the text that reads, “A past you want to hide. Is the enemy you or me?” raises questions about their relationship and the turbulent challenges that will engulf Seo Dong Jae’s life.
The production team remarked, “If you focus on society as seen through Dong Jae’s eyes and the various human figures depicted within that society, you will be able to enjoy ‘Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard’ more deeply.”
“Dongjae, The Good or the Bastard” is set to premiere on October 10. Stay tuned!
