“Spice Up Our Love,” the upcoming spin-off drama of “No Gain No Love,” has offered a sneak peek of Lee Sang Yi’s character!
“Spice Up Our Love” is a fantasy romance drama about Nam Ja Yeon (Han Ji Hyun), a writer of a steamy R-rated web novel who unexpectedly finds herself transported into her own story as the female lead Seo Yeon Seo. She soon becomes tangled in an unpredictable romance with her novel’s male protagonist Kang Ha Joon (Lee Sang Yi).
Lee Sang Yi plays Kang Ha Joon, the ideal male lead in Ja Yeon’s novel. Kang Ha Joon is the president of GB Electric, the company where Seo Yeon Seo works. Though Kang Ha Joon appears cold and logical, he becomes incredibly tender toward the woman he loves. His unwavering devotion is clear as he pursues Yeon Seo, who reignited love in his heart.
In the newly released stills, Lee Sang Yi highlights his character’s charm with a polished look. The production team noted that his gentle smile and the scenes where he’s wearing a sleeping gown with his hair down reveal captivating charisma not shown in the main storyline through “No Gain No Love.”
“Spice Up Our Love” will premiere two episodes on October 3 via TVING.
